Becoming a parent or navigating changes in a relationship can be joyful but also exhausting and overwhelming. Many of my clients feel anxious, disconnected, or like they are just trying to hold it all together. If that sounds familiar, you are not alone. I work with women, birthing parents, and couples during the perinatal and postpartum periods, especially those navigating trauma, anxiety, or big life transitions. I also work with couples who want to improve communication, connection, or navigate challenges during major life changes. Using Internal Family Systems, I help you understand and care for the different parts of yourself, such as the part that worries, the part that is tired, or the part longing for calm, so you can start feeling steadier, more connected, and more like yourself.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy with me is collaborative, real, and compassionate. You do not have to have it all figured out to start, and there is no judgment in our sessions. I aim to create a space where you feel truly seen and heard, whether we are exploring personal challenges, processing trauma, or working on your relationship. My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, navigate parenthood or relationship changes, and feel supported in your growth.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We start by slowing down and understanding your story, what brought you to therapy, and what changes feel most important to you. Using Internal Family Systems, we explore the parts of yourself or your relationship that carry stress, anxiety, or pain and learn ways to care for them with compassion. Sessions move at your pace and balance reflection, insight, and practical strategies. Over time, clients often feel more grounded, self-aware, and connected to themselves, their partner, and the life they are building together.
