Elizabeth Kamp, PA-C

Physician Assistant
1251 S Cedar Crest Blvd, Ste 102A, Allentown, PA
Philosophy of care I believe patients and providers should be partners. I tell my patients it’s my job to make recommendations, but the decision to implement them is theirs. Our relationship must be based on mutual trust; without it, the partnership doesn’t work. Why I entered medicine From a young age, I wanted to work with people and loved biology and anatomy. I considered medical school but then discovered the physician assistant profession. I earned my Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Emory University and my Bachelor’s from Pennsylvania State University. The flexibility of being a PA has allowed me to practice in diverse fields over 20+ years—family medicine, occupational medicine, neurology, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, and urgent care. These experiences exposed me to many patients with varied medical needs—valuable knowledge for my current family medicine role. Community involvement I have three children involved in sports, so most of my volunteer energy goes there. Currently, I’m fundraising for my son’s high school football booster club to ensure the team has needed equipment and supplies. I enjoy the camaraderie with other football parents and making my son’s experience the best it can be. My oldest daughter plays college soccer, so I’m less involved there, but my youngest daughter plays middle school basketball and softball. I plan to fundraise for her teams once she’s in high school. Personal interests When not working, my husband and I attend our kids’ sporting events. Call me a soccer, football, basketball, cheer, and softball mom! They likely get their athletic interest from me—I played volleyball and was a soccer goalie in high school and kept stats for my college volleyball team at Penn State. I remain a proud Penn Stater and love Penn State volleyball and football. Though my competitive sports days are over, I stay fit with indoor cycling (spin) classes and long walks with my dog.
