I recently had an appointment with Elizabeth Lokenauth and I am disturbed at the rudeness and lack of compassion she has. Someone working with those struggling with their mental health should be ashamed of themselves. As someone that has worked in behavioral health for over 7 years, I am horrified. I wouldn’t recommend her, and I definitely will not be returning to this practice.

Been on the same medicine for quite some time because that’s what works and she decided to give me a lower dose of the same medicine one month and then the next month she cut it in half with that same low low low so now I’m still having anxiety and she has totally screwed me up. She is basing her, giving me that medication in a low, low low-dose and not even half of it so now my anxiety is not controlled anymore. It was controlled with what I was taking in the amount I was taking. It was a perfect remedy for me or whatever you call it not remedy but it was controlled and now it is uncontrolled …?

I was really nervous since I have never seen a psychiatrist before, and I am actually extremely horrible communicating and my primary care doctor is a script and go type of person without listening to me at all… and I was extremely happy with my apt.
She let me ramble on (making no sense I’m sure lol) and then we started from zero to diagnose my issues and treat them correctly… actually listened to me.. I can’t even tell you how great that made me feel.
For the first time, I feel confident that my mental health will be taken seriously, and treated.
