About Elizabeth Roper Wilde

Elizabeth Roper Wilde, MSTOM, LAc, FABORM is the founder of Wilde & Well Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine and a New York State licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. She earned her Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science and is a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (FABORM), the highest level of board certification in acupuncture and Chinese medicine for reproductive health and fertility. Elizabeth treats a wide range of conditions, including orthopedic and sports injuries, headaches and migraines, stress and anxiety, digestive disorders, hormone regulation, women's health concerns, and nervous system dysregulation. She has a special clinical focus in fertility, IVF support, pregnancy, and postpartum care, combining evidence-informed treatment with compassionate, individualized care to support patients through every stage of their health journey. Her passion for Chinese medicine began through her own experiences as an athlete, when acupuncture became an important part of recovering from injuries and maintaining overall health. That experience sparked a lifelong appreciation for the body's remarkable ability to heal when given the right support and inspired her to pursue a career helping others do the same. She has also incorporated acupuncture throughout her own fertility journey, pregnancy, and postpartum recovery, giving her a deep appreciation for its ability to support the body through life's many transitions. Known for her thoughtful, personalized approach, Elizabeth creates a calm, welcoming space where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their care. She believes the body functions best when the root cause of dysfunction is addressed, not just the symptoms, and works collaboratively with each patient to create an individualized treatment plan that promotes lasting health, balance, and resilience.

Liz was amazing! This was my first experience with Acupuncture and I didn’t really know what to expect. She listened to all my concerns, asked relevant questions and walked me through the process. She truly made me feel at ease throughout the whole visit and I look forward to going back again next week for continued treatment.

Glad to have found Liz! This was my first acupuncture so I was unsure what to expect but she was so helpful and thorough. I'll definitely be continuing treatment with her.
Amazing first time experience with Accupuncture! She was extremely informative and comforting. She talked me through the entire treatment and taught me a lot about Accupuncture itself. Office is in a great area (right by the train & has meter parking available) and is beautifully decorated. I didn’t wait at all which is a plus. I left feeling very calm and relaxed. Already can’t wait for my next appointment.

The place is very relaxing and Elizabeth took me right away. She took the time to discuss with me and offered recommendations before we started which I really appreciated. She is very gentle and professional and after the first session I already feel better. Will definitely go back!

Amazing! Perfect combination of knowledge/expertise, professionalism, and genuine care. I left feeling amazing, and counting the days until I come back. Cannot recommend her enough!

I would highly recommend Dr. Roper. Dr. Roper is deeply knowledgeable in the human musculoskeletal system, pain management and acupuncture. She was very kind, asked many questions and took the time to learn about the sport related injuries causing my chronic pain. I look forward to continuing my treatment in her safe, sanitized and relaxing office.

Truly an excellent experience. Elizabeth has a wealth of knowledge and isn't afraid to explain things in a comfortable and assuring manner. Her studio was incredibly well kept and I felt right at home In times like this, I'm grateful that services like this are available! If you've never tried acupuncture before I highly recommend this be your first stop!

I have been to other acupuncturist and I had no idea what I was missing. They were nice but my experience was ok. However, I was blown away by Elizabeth. She was very knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. She explained every procedure and walked me through the appointment. The place was clean, beautiful and calming. She took the time to get to know me and my body. I am so happy I found her and cannot wait to keep coming back. This felt like a healing experience.

Liz is nothing less than extraordinary. She's caring, she's professional, and she's soft to the touch. I always show up in pain from chronic injuries I suffer from, but I leave smiling & rejuvinated. Not to mention I'm always happy to see her. Thank you Liz. You're the best acupuncturist I've been to!
Elizabeth is wonderful! Gentle & intuitive. She was able to greatly reduce my PM's symptoms & other issues that nothing has ever helped before. Cannot recommend Elizabeth highly enough!!
Liz is truly the real deal- I am a somewhat squeamish, very sensitive patient and she understood my needs from the very first visit. Her depth of knowledge, skill, empathy and care sets her apart. My focus was on fertility and she has seen me through an IVF cycle! So far so good! I don't recommend her highly enough- she's really non-judgemental, relatable, also an expert w/ sports (running esp.). I'll be a happy patient of Liz's for a long time.
I see Liz every week for acupuncture. She always checks-in w/ me at the beginning of our appointment and adjusts treatment a necessary. She's very friendly and I highly recommend!
Amazing. Elizabeth is a natural healer. She is extremly knowledgble, educated and well versed in the area, but also has a natural talent and intuition in helping her patients. I have seen other practitioners and never experienced the same incredible results as with Elizabeth.
Liz is thoughtful in her practice, she takes time to get to know your body and lifestyle so she can provide the best care possible. I always leave feeling refreshed and the issues I came in for are improving with each visit.
