Elizabeth Salcedo MD, is a primary care internist with over 25 years of clinical experience.
Dr. Salcedo completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the College of the Holy Spirit in Manila, Philippines, before earning her medical degree at the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center in Manila, Philippines. She then completed her residency in internal medicine at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.

Originally, I had my annual physical scheduled two weeks ago the day of the major snowstorm here in NJ. The office was closed (as was most of the state). However, I had called 3 different times and left messages to reschedule my appointment and never heard back so I ended up scheduling my physical via Zocdoc. Upon, showing up for my 8:30 AM appointment the front desk lady said she had me in for a 15 minute follow-up and proceeded to argue with me that it was not for my physical. Once I showed her confirmation through Zocdoc she very rudely said..."well that's why you should have gone through Zocdoc." As much as I enjoyed seeing Dr. Salcedo my experience from always dealing with this front desk lady has always been so unpleasant I will be finding a different PCP.

I had a single appointment with this doctor, but unfortunately, our approaches to care did not align. When I requested a hormone panel—given that I’m 48 and likely perimenopausal—she declined, stating that hormone levels wouldn’t impact the care plan. This was concerning to me. Additionally, the practice’s strictly pro-vaccine stance doesn’t match my personal views. While she may be a good fit for others, I didn’t feel this was the right practice for me.
