About Dr. Elizabeth Wallace
Dr. Liz Wallace is a Harvard-trained Board-Certified Dermatologist focused on providing exceptional care to her patients. She uses her expert knowledge and the latest research to help her patients achieve their skin care goals.
Dr. Wallace grew up in the Bay Area of California and completed her undergraduate education at Northwestern University, graduating summa cum laude. She then went on to medical school at the University of California Davis and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Wallace completed her Internship in Medicine at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco and received the “Intern of the Year” award. She then completed her Residency in Dermatology at the Harvard Combined Dermatology Program.
After completing her training at Harvard, Dr. Wallace worked as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Wallace was an investigator on several clinical trials studying emerging therapies for advanced skin diseases. She also co-founded the combined Dermatology/Rheumatology Clinic that provides comprehensive care to medically complex dermatology patients. Dr. Wallace is active in research and education. She has authored many publications and presented her work at local, national, and international conferences. She is on the Medical Board of the National Psoriasis Foundation and on the Colorado Dermatologic Society Board of Directors. She lives in Denver with her husband, two children, and two goldendoodles. When she’s not treating patients, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and skiing with her family.

Dr. Wallace and her team were outstanding! We were greeted with smiles and made to feel comfortable through the entire appointment. She spent time listening to my teenage daughter and exuded empathy for her situation. She worked on short-term options working toward a long-term solution. After the appointment she followed up after hours to check on my teen. Wow!! 10 out of 10!! Thank you Dr. Wallace!

They charge no show fee for your appointment if you cancel or try to reschedule and only remind you about your appointment when the office is closed the weekend before your appointment so then there’s not really a way to avoid the fee if something like losing your insurance comes up. And doesn’t seem like they care much about it either.

I went to Dr. Wallace to address my acne and small patches of eczema, a pretty routine derm visit. Nonetheless, she took the time to listen to me and did not rush the visit at all. I left the appointment feeling confident that Dr. Wallace was fully invested in my care and valued my opinion as well! She asked what I had taken before to treat my acne, and then asked if there were any treatments I was interested in or thought might work for me. I have never had a doctor that asked for my input first; I really appreciated feeling like I had a say in my treatment. She is a rare combination of brilliant and exceedingly kind and I am lucky to have her as a doctor.

I have allergies that cause my skin to break out. Dr. Wallace made a plan to reduce the breakout and gave me referrals for allergists and other doctors in the area. Highly recommend!

Great experience with Dr. Wallace. She was kind, helpful, and thorough. She made product recommendations to help me with some dry skin issues.
Only complaint was that ZocDoc doesn’t provide clear instructions on parking,
getting to the building, and the office number was wrong. When an office is in a big hospital complex it should be more clear.
