About Emily Beddingfield
We are NOT a specialist office. We do NOT see patients for dermatology, OBGYN services, or orthopedic consultations.
Insurances: We do not accept Medicaid. We accept most commercial insurance plans, Traditional Medicare, and most Medicare Advantage plans. If you have an HMO plan, we must be listed as your Primary Care Provider on your insurance.
Emily’s career in healthcare began in 2012 when she earned a Master of Science in Nursing with an advanced practice license from The University of Texas at Austin. She has spent over a decade caring for adults in post-acute and long-term care settings, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic illnesses. Beyond patient care, she volunteers her time guiding future advanced practice nurses through their clinical experiences as a clinical affiliate at UT. Outside of her professional life, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband, their nephew, and three nieces. Her hobbies include trying new recipes and restaurants, gardening, traveling, spoiling their poodles, and enjoying the company of friends and family.

NPs walk so the rest of us can run, man. Emily Beddingfield is a true blue NP who is hands-on and committed to developing an EFFICIENT care plan that WORKS WITH YOUR NEEDS rather than what might appear the simplest answers, or what might be easiest for the provider/office. I was in a tight spot after seeing a lot of doctors back and forth and after some recent positive experiences with NPs I found her on Zocodoc, placed the appointment extremely last minute, but was seen right away, with the utmost kindness and care (without being fake or put-upon, as some providers can seem to be), and not only helped me with day of solutions to my issues, but went above and beyond in developing a care plan for me to make sense of issues I've been having between different practices. Truly excellent advice and one of the best, if not best, experience I have had in terms of a provider who not only had excellent bedside manner but was an active listener and efficient in her support.

Dr. Beddingfield had an open ear and thorough explanations the whole appointment. She helped me have an understanding of the chronic illnesses I've been dealing with and what can diminish the pain. The appointment had an easy flow to it and I was able to book two appointments with her, got info on a doctor who specializes in my illnesses and got prescribed over the counter medicine before more appointments. She was awesome and I'll continue going to her while I'm in Austin, would totally recommend Dr. Beddingfield as a primary care doctor.
