About Dr. Emily Cai
Dr. Emily D. Cai is a board-certified dermatologist with a special interest in medical dermatology. She is committed to providing the most up-to-date dermatologic care in the areas of acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, and skin rejuvenation.
Dr. Cai earned her Doctor of Medicine from Stanford University School of Medicine. She completed her internship at St. Mary's Medical Center and her residency in dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She is also a graduate of Cornell University College of Arts and Sciences.
One of Dr. Cai's most important goals is to always take the time to carefully listen to the needs and concerns of each patient, working together to create the best treatment plan for each individual.
A native of California, Dr. Cai combines her strong educational background with a patient-centered approach to deliver personalized and effective dermatologic care.

They were very nice and listened carefully. I felt very heard, and understood and I felt that I understood everything that was said to me, especially when I had follow up questions about what I would be taking and what they were necessary for.

I highly recommend Dr. Cai. They were so kind and took their time addressing my issue and and answering any questions I had. I never felt like the appointment was rushed. It also started right on time, A great experience all around.

Dr. Cai was very pleasant and is very knowledgeable. She went the extra mile, making sure that the medications prescribed wouldn’t be contraindicated. Would definitely recommend her. The only downside was the wait time.

Dr. Cai was so attentive. I felt like she actually cared to hear about what I wanted and what my concerns were and took cost of meds into consideration. She also did a wonderful job explaining my different medication options to me so I was well informed. Definitely the best dermatologist I’ve ever seen.

Dr. Cai was great! She listened thoroughly to my concerns, asked me questions, and did research to make sure the care plan she devised was optimal. She was detail-oriented and effective, letting me know about side effects etc. I walked out feeling heard and confident that I was well taken care of! Other folks at the office were kind, organized, and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
