About Dr. Emily Hollingsworth

Our office hours are M-F 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am - 3pm
Dr. Emily Hollingsworth grew up in Southern Oklahoma before attending the University of Oklahoma where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Science Education. In 2006 she obtained her Doctorate of Optometry and another Bachelor’s of Science degree in Vision Science from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. During her final year in optometry school, Dr. Hollingsworth had the opportunity to complete her medical/surgical rotations in Tianjin, China and spent four months abroad. She also completed a rotation at the Dorn Medical VA Center in Columbia, SC. Both of these clinical rotations focused on the treatment and management of ocular disease.
Since graduation Dr. Hollingsworth has been practicing in a primary care setting in South Florida. Her recent move to Texas in July 2011 has given her the opportunity to open her new practice, Hollingsworth Eye Care, at the new Costco in Frisco. She specializes in contact lens fittings, emergency eye care and treatment of ocular disease.
In her spare time, Dr. Hollingsworth enjoys using her Peloton bike and tread and going to the movies. She and her husband live in Prosper with their twin daughters.
