About Dr. Emily Keimig

Emily Keimig, MD, MS is a board certified dermatologist. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Michigan in 1999 and received her master’s degree (2001) and medical degree (2005) from Wayne State University in Detroit. She also completed her internal medicine internship (2006) and dermatology residency (2009) at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. In addition, she was a clinical instructor for both NorthShore University Health System and Northwestern Medical Group’s department of dermatology. Dr. Keimig specializes in general dermatology, addressing various skin concerns. She has a special focus in autoimmune skin disease; non-infectious granulomas including sarcoidosis; granuloma annulare and necrobiosis lipoidica; connective tissue disorders including morphea; and psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, member of the Medical Dermatology Association, Chicago Dermatological Society and Chair of the Networking Committee of the Women’s Dermatologic Society.
