About Emmanuel Barron
Emmanuel completed his Bachelor’s degree magna cum laude in Kinesiology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. While an undergraduate, he provided rehabilitative care as a Rehabilitation Aide and Chiropractic Assistant. He later attended Midwestern University, where he earned his Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies. After graduating, he has worked in Family Medicine, providing comprehensive primary care services in an underserved community health center. Emmanuel speaks English and Spanish, which makes him widely accessible to clients from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
Emmanuel engages in active listening with his clients to help foster a trusting and long-lasting relationship. He is devoted to ensuring that each client receives care tailored to their specific needs by engaging in shared decision making. His special interests include preventative medicine, working with marginalized communities, and LGBTQ+ health.
When not working, Emmanuel enjoys spending time with friends and family, staying active, traveling, and watching MMA.

This was the most thorough and informative visit that I have ever received. Emmanuel not only talked to me in manner that I could understand, he broke down al he also made me feel like he was interested with my concerns. This was verified by a subsequent visit where he addressed and had a plan for those same concerns. The entire staff is so pleasant and the decor, the music always great, and interaction of staff with one another was amazing. I saw so much positive reinforcement between them, that it made me comfortable to be there. I highly recommend them at Wellness Home on Halsted.

There are 3 part entrances to this office. Theres a behavioral duplex and a physical therapy duplex and the medical duplex all in one giant building. The office is closed during lunch which was weird that absolutely no one is there between 230-330pm CT. Everyone was friendly and happy and the team all communicated very well as if the work relationship chemistry was soooooo close. I’m thinking about moving to Dr. Barron as a PCP instead of the one I have one so far. I feel more at home!
