Dr. Emmanuelle Gilles received her medical degree from the State University of New York, Upstate Medical University. She completed internal medicine residency at North Shore University Hospital and a nephrology fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital. She is a graduate of Cornell University with a bachelor's degree in human development. She currently holds dual board certifications in nephrology and internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American Society of Nephrology. I haven’t stopped raving about my visit since yesterday. The receptionist area were kind, thorough, and extremely helpful! I wasn’t able to pull my lab results from the hospital. Amanda said “no worries. Let me try.” Within minutes she retrieved the records and attached it to my file. The alternative was for me to screenshot every lab page. She went above and beyond!
The Doctor!!!! I cannot say enough about how wonderful she is!!! I traveled from Brooklyn to find her and Dr. Gilles was worth every minute of my travel. It’s funny. Her spirit was so warm and friendly that I wanted to give her a hug before we began but we started discussing the reason for my visit so I didn’t. After she listened to EVERY concern and then some, she gave me thorough next steps. No doctor jargon. Just plain layman’s terms. I know when connections are aligned. After our visit, she gave ME a hug?? If you approach appointments with positive energy it will be reciprocated. Thank you, Dr. Gilles.

Dr Giles and her staff were wonderful. The staff was friendly, kind and helpful. Dr Giles is an outstanding doctor. She takes her time and listens. For her, each patient is unique and she creates the perfect plan that deals with the needs of their medical issues.

I left the visit hopeful, since the doctor seemed very attentive. I was in pain, and was sent for an ultrasound. The results were given to her next day. I called the office knowing she had the results. Three days later I have not received a call back and after a second call to the office I learned that she is out of the office. At best, I will not get results until a week after the ultrasound, still in pain, no resolve. Disappointed was hoping for better.
