About Dr. Eric Kirschner

Dr. Eric Kirschner is one of the founding partners of Horizon Medical Group. Dr. Kirschner received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1978. He received his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York in 1985 and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Kirschner completed his fellowship in Cardiology at the Beth Israel Medical Center in 1991. He currently is a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the Albert EInstein College of Medicine where he has been on the faculty since 1994.

The doctor didn’t appear to be interested in anything that I had to say and stared at his computer the entire time. The interaction left much to be desired. I will go elsewhere next time.

Pretty good, very attentive, but would wish he could be more conscious of being communicative during the appointment (like giving warning before opening my gown, or procedure - for example “I’m going to check your heart rate now” instead of reaching directly with no warning. But overall pretty great!

It was refreshing to not have to wait in the Dr.'s office. I was promptly taken care of and my visit went very smoothly. Dr. Kirshner and his staff got me into my appointment and done in a jiffy without feeling rushed. He too ketch time to address my concerns and I will definitely be back.
