Getting to know Dr. Eric Michael

Dr. Eric Michael is a board-certified psychiatrist with a focus on bipolar disorder, insomnia, major depressive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), social anxiety disorder, and schizophrenia. Dr. Michael’s modalities include medication management in combination with cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, and prolonged exposure therapy. His role is to be a helpful guide for his patients and to provide support, insight, and knowledge. Dr. Michael completed his residency and forensic psychiatry fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles. He grew up playing the piano and played competitively for 13 years. Dr. Michael also sang in a co-ed a cappella group throughout college.
