Getting to know Dr. Eric Rueth
True Psychiatry is a gold-standard outpatient private practice combining eclectic therapy and expert medication management with one experienced, down-to-earth, ABPN board-certified psychiatrist. Zocdoc is used only for new patients, with intake appointments lasting 50 minutes and costing $500. Serious bookings only, as fees will be applied pursuant to practice policies for canceled appointments. True Psychiatry is not affiliated with or contracted by any insurance providers, but documentation will be provided for out-of-network claims. Please contact True Psychiatry directly for concierge pricing, personal arrangements, and availability.
Dr. Eric Rueth, founder and medical director of True Psychiatry, earned his Doctor of Medicine from Emory University. He completed his residency in psychiatry at Saint Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center and holds a bachelor's degree from Duke University. Since moving to Nashville in 2016 from New York City, where he was the director of Emergency Psychiatric Services for NYU at Woodhull Hospital, Dr. Rueth has served as the medical director at Vanderbilt's Psychiatric Assessment Service. Now, his extensive experience is brought directly to the care of a small number of outpatients through True Psychiatry.
The office will be located in Brentwood (currently under construction), with HIPAA-compliant telehealth and in-home concierge services now available.

Initial session: $550 for 50 minutes
Ongoing session: $275 for 25 minutes
