Hi! I'm Dr Eric Tung.
I am a Board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. My holistic approach includes medication management, psychotherapy and lifestyle changes. I use personalized integrative psychiatry methods to help working professionals struggling with anxiety, depression, and burnout.
I received 4 years of psychiatry residency training at Harvard Medical School and 2 years of Child & Adolescent psychiatry fellowship training at UCSD.

I treat many different diagnoses, but I specialize in adults who struggle with depression, bipolar, trauma, burnout, anxiety, OCD, and stress.

For my first appointment, Dr. Tung was timely in his arrival and thorough in asking me relevant questions about my history. I did come w/ some set expectations as I had seen other psychiatrists before, and he was understanding of my past experiences and suggested some valid additional possible avenues to help improve my situation. He was polite and not too friendly (why would you be eager about my mental illness?)
The only negatives, albeit minor, were that his video was unfortunately of low quality so it made it hard to read his expressions (I'm decently sure it wasn't my WiFi) and the conversation flow due to soft voice and several pauses, which made him sound less confident in his expertise. Could definitely be a me thing or a first appointment thing, I'll certainly adjust if that improves later.

Dr. Tung was very professional, patient, attentive, and knowledgeable. There was no wait time; in fact he saw me 10 mins earlier than my scheduled appointment time. If you’re having mental health concerns, I would highly recommend his care.
