About Dr. Eric Winiarz

Dr. Winiarz earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northeast College of Health Sciences and has extensive postgraduate education. He is fully certified in Active Release Technique and Graston instrument soft tissue manipulation. He acknowledges that soft tissue dysfunction plays an integral role in pain syndromes by creating altered biomechanics, which result in faulty movement patterns. He is an expert in functional rehabilitation and soft tissue release methods. Dr. Winiarz is TPI certified from the Titleist Performance Institute. TPI has studied thousands of golfers, ranging from top tour players to weekend enthusiasts. The TPI analysis reveals physical limitations in a player’s body that adversely affect the golf swing and, more importantly, lead to injury. To achieve an efficient swing, a golfer must first be screened. This screen involves an assessment of swing mechanics and biomechanics, physical fitness and movement quality, and a client history. Dr. Winiarz holds a certificate of completion for the McGill Method, developed by Stuart McGill, the world’s most prominent spinal biomechanical researcher. This method combines movement efficiency with exercises to create a resilient spine. His postgraduate studies in spine biomechanics employ movement techniques to help treat patients suffering from chronic low back pain. He teaches exercises to help these patients move with less pain and use self-management techniques to understand their own back pain and learn how to avoid painful situations. He understands how important movement quality is and how it relates to pain syndromes. Dr. Winiarz enjoys competing in triathlon events and road running races. He treats a wide range of athletes, from Ironman competitors to weekend warriors.

Dr. W asked a series of questions. Then he looked carefully for the source of the issue. He identified what it was. Then he applied a series of adjustments & stretches. Afterwards, he took some time to show me some stretches that can help. Great first experience. I will go back.

Can't say enough about my experience with Dr. Winiarz and his office. The woman at the desk was SO kind and very helpful. I was a new patient and shared that I was in immense pain and they got me in earlier than I had booked online. Dr. Winiarz is always on time, very attentive, explains what he is doing and why, does a lot of testing and diagnosing so he knows exactly what is going on without the guesswork, spends plenty of time with you and works really hard to get you pain free. He also follows up with interesting information about what is going on with your body and gives you exercises which he wants you to do. The ART work that he did was incredible. I have seen a lot of bodyworkers and this type of work is hard to come by. The office has a room for STIM and ice/heat. The tables and equipment used throughout my treatments were fantastic. Everything was very clean and patients were spaced so that I felt very safe and protected regarding COVID protocols. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Winiarz to patch you up!

Dr. Winiarz is simply outstanding. Whatever the issue he develops a plan with you that improves whatever back, neck, etc. issue you are having. He also follows up with emails, etc. He also does not push you to come back for unnecessary visits. If he says you need to come back you can trust that it is necessary.

Absolutely amazing work! Dr. Eric Winiarz is so knowledgeable about what will help my chronic neck/back pains. He is very intuitive with how I am progressing with each visit, and accommodates any adjustments when necessary. Him and his office are super friendly as well. Strongly recommend!
When I first visited Dr. Winiarz I was in a bad place physically. I was experiencing sciatic pain and had muscle tightness/spasms that were keeping me up at night and prohibiting me from training. After my initial assessment, Dr. Winiarz was able to pinpoint my sources of pain and address them using A.R.T (Active Release Techniques). Each week through my feedback and his expertise we would work the areas of pain - breaking down adhesions and scar tissue from past injuries. Dr. Winiarz not only helped me in our sessions with his manual techniques but gave me the tools to strengthen the muscles that were weak outside of our sessions. After 2 months I am now pain free and have restored range of motion. I am now training smarter and moving better than ever before. I highly recommend Dr. Winiarz for anyone experiancing muscle or joint pain.
My visit is always very friendly, very easy and with a warm welcome. The professional & have is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and knows how to resolve any physical problem I have. All in all, my visit is relaxing and comforting.
Very thorough and helpful
He takes so much time to learn what’s bothering you and then really focuses on that and you feel 100% better when you walk out of there.

Like most jobs, I am at my desk from 9:00 to 6:00 so I go home most days with neck and back pain. After years of heating pads and stretching, I decided to go see a chiropractor which I was referred to Dr. Winiarz. Dr. Winiarz is highly professional, knowledgeable and really takes the time to show you what you need to do to stay pain free. After the very first visit I knew I was in great hands...pun intended :-). I highly recommend!!
