About Erica Simmons
Erica Simmons, NP, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 22 years of experience in healthcare. Originally from Missouri, she relocated to Arizona in 2019 and brings a wealth of knowledge from working across multiple specialties, including intensive care (ICU) in a Level 1 trauma center, progressive care (PCU), gastroenterology, medical-surgical units, cardiology, and neurology. Her diverse background allows her to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care with a well-rounded clinical perspective.

The NP refused to do a Physical Exam. Told me to come back and see Dr. Young but he is never available. So I guess I have to find a new PCP so I can actually have a physical. What a waste of time.

I had such a great experience! I am very scared and anxious to find a new doctor. I feel I will be judged and not listened to or rushed out. Erica Simmons took her time, we talked a lot and laughed. She made me feel good and comfortable, my anxiety went away in no time. She was concerned that I got everything I wanted and needed taken care of. Ms. Simmons was very nice and friendly. She was thorough in taking my history and during the exam. She gave me easy to follow steps for some at home stuff. I felt very comfortable and heard, she took everything I said seriously and didn't dismiss anything. Her office was neat and tidy. Her staff were very nice as well. 10/10, would recommend.

My appointment was scheduled for 1:00 pm, his was for 4pm
We arrived 15 minutes earlier, when we realized there where on lunch time, we started walking back to the car, when someone opened the door and let us in, so we didn't have to sit in the car, temperatures were 105 degrees
We were happy for the office staff gesture
We got checked in, and they asked if we wanted the three o'clock instead of four o'clock
I asked if we could be see back to back, since the nature of 5he visit was only to establish a care relationship. One of the ladies asked the doctor, and she agreed

She was very nice
Didn't skip one single detail or question to be asked.
Because we had a bad experience with the previous medical office, Im very aware of the medical care I want for myself and my husband
I highly recommend IMS.
