Yale and Columbia educated, Northwell-affiliated Board Certified Psychiatrist, Psychotherapist, and Psychopharmacologist. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by psychiatry residencies at Yale University and Columbia University. "Life must be lived prospectively but can only be understood retrospectively." — Søren Kierkegaard, philosopher Reflect on life with the caring wisdom of a psychiatrist, then better understand and enjoy life as it is happening now. Turn problems into solutions, learn from mistakes to do better next time, transcend unwanted habits and behavior patterns, overcome shame and self-doubt, dissolve obsessions, heal from betrayal and breakup, and shift your perspective to restore optimism. Psychotherapy is a creative dialogue in which we brainstorm solutions, visualize, and practice success strategies. Using a strength-based orientation helps you draw from your own inner resources. Psychotherapy is also psychoeducation. Psychopharmacology includes nutrition and supplements as well as careful, state-of-the-art medication prescribing. Please note that I am not an authorized buprenorphine prescriber, and I do not prescribe benzodiazepines or stimulants in the state of Pennsylvania.
