Eunice Mwaura is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner in the state of Texas and the founder of Eunique Mind and Mental Wellness, PLLC. She received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. Eunice has acquired a vast amount of clinical practice and theoretical knowledge throughout her career. She is passionate about mental health and has over 7 years of experience working in mental healthcare settings, including 4 years as a PMHNP.
Eunice provides medication management for mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, OCD, PTSD/stress-related disorders, sleep problems, and ADHD (with non-stimulant medications).
What should a new client know about working with you?
I offer high quality , safe and empathic psychiatric care that encourages an individual discovery their authentic self while receiving treatment. My treatment style is personalized according each individual needs and ensure you feel supported during treatment.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I perform diagnostic evaluation and treatment by utilizing the latest evidence-based research to provide psychiatric treatment , while also encompassing a holistic approach that is genuinely unique to each of my clients .

I was very comfortable speaking with my Doctor. She heard the concern in my voice when I was speaking and used reinforcing words when she spoke that showed she not only was listening to what I was saying but empathized with the effect my issues where having on how I was addressing them alone for so long. She was quick to provide me with tools that worked for me personally and was understanding in my concerns with finding a way to deal with my issues without being just reliant on a medication.
