Dr. Fadel Azer, MD, FACOG, MGIS, MS, is a skilled Endometriosis & Fibroid Specialist located in Lisle, IL. Dr. Azer offers the most advanced non-surgical and surgical treatments for a wide variety of medical conditions.
At Advanced Gynecology Practice, Dr. Azer employs state-of-the-art approaches for the diagnosis and treatments of endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, and menstrual abnormalities.
Dr. Azer is double board certified in OBGYN and Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeries (MIGS) with over 16 years of using the da Vinci Robot Surgical System including Multi-port and Single Site Platforms.
Dr. Azer earned his medical degree from Cairo University, Egypt with an honors degree of excellence. He conducted his Surgical Oncology Residency/Fellowship at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) University of Cairo which is the most prestigious, unique and most competitive residency program in the nation. He also holds the M.S. degree in General Surgery from Cairo University with his published thesis “Retrospective Comparative Study of Free and Pedicled TRAM Flap for Breast Reconstruction after Mastectomy for Malignancy”.
Dr. Azer moved to the United States of America, and because of his special interest in women’s health and pelvic surgeries, he conducted a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in MI where he also served as the administrative chief resident after being elected by residents and Faculty.
Dr. Azer’s surgical oncology background is a great asset to him and has helped shape his journey to becoming a well rounded pelvic surgeon who always thinks out of the box.
Dr. Azer has advanced training in gynecologic and pelvic surgeries, with a special interest in robot-assisted surgery. A member of the American Association of Gynecology Laparoscopists (AAGL).
Dr. Azer welcomes new patients and he is fluent in both English and Arabic.

I would recommend Dr. Fadel over and over again. I saw him for the first time today and he listened to everything I had to say and genuinely answered every question I had about sterilization and birth control and provided more information than I could’ve asked for. Unlike other doctors who take months to see you even when you have a concerning health issue, Dr. Azer was able to fit me into his schedule the same day. His office was very nice and the staff was kind and helpful. Seeing Dr. Azer was fantastic! I went to his office as a new patient and he was very kind and a great listener to my needs. He spends plenty of time with you and I never felt rushed. I require sedation for an IUD removal/reinsertion due to severe pain with my first one and he was very understanding to my needs. Highly recommend Dr. Azer and will be keeping him as my new gyn!

as this was my first time coming into the office check in and being called into a room was fairly easy and quick. although wait time was about 30 minutes once I was sent to the room and asked to undress. DR. Fadel made sure I was certain of my decision, asking me repeatedly if I was sure and why I wanted to remove my iud. It was quick and easy.

I'm a new patient to Dr. Azer. I made my appointment online via Zocdoc over the weekend for a Monday visit. The process was easy and simple.
I arrived, filled out paperwork, and was immediately taken to the room to be checked. The wait time was minimal.
The doctor was very nice and pleasant. He was very knowledgeable, asked questions to understand my medical history, and made several referrals for specialists visits. He has great bedside manners. I will definitely recommend him and will be back. I'm glad I found a great doctor to give me the car I need.

I’m BEYOND impressed. The staff was amazing. The office is beautiful. Plenty of parking.
He explained exactly what he planned to do and why. His communication was constant and he ensured I was ok. But the bonus was he was able to get me an appt I was unable to get on my own and HE called me to give me the details.
It is great having a doctor and team with amazing patient/customer relations skills!
