Fadi Karou is a dedicated and diligent Cardiologist serving the community of Clifton, NJ. Dr. Karou earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Aleppo Faculty of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at East Tennessee State University.
During his training, Dr. Karou received multiple awards, including the Outstanding Resident Award, Chief Resident Award, Outstanding Fellow Award, Best Teaching Fellow Award, and Chief Fellow Award.
Dr. Karou runs his own practice and is affiliated with Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ, and Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Additionally, he is board certified by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology and the National Board of Echocardiography. Dr. Karou is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation by the American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Society of Echocardiography.
