About Dr. Fahad Zubair

Dr. Zubair is medical director of Obesity Medicine at AHN. He earned his medical degree at Ziauddin Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, and completed a residency at Catholic Health System and the State University of New York, both in Buffalo, New York. He received further training through a fellowship in obesity medicine and clinical nutrition at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. He is currently treating patients with medical and surgical options for weight control at West Penn Hospital. He has been involved in research into obesity-related metabolic dysfunction and treatments for obesity. He has been widely published and has presented at national conferences.
