About Dr. Farnaz Safi

Dr. Farnaz Safi is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology with specialties in high-risk obstetrics and minimally invasive robotic surgery. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and is an active member of the American Medical Association, and the Alumni Associations of the University of Florida and the Ross University School of Medicine. Dr. Safi was born in Tehran, Iran, and moved to Florida at an early age. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychophysiology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, before earning her medical degree at the Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at SUNY Downstate/Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, and enjoyed working with the immigrant and under privileged communities. Dr. Safi has had several articles published in the Journal of the American Medical Association and ScienceDaily, and has received numerous accolades for her quality and patient-centered care, including being named New Jersey’s top doctor for three years prior to returning to Florida. Dr. Safi’s passion is driven by the bonds she builds with her patients over the course of their lives and the enjoyment she holds in keeping her patients healthy and educated. She is active in the community and continues to be a supporting force for women’s rights and the rights of immigrants and the underserved population. She is fluent in Farsi/Persian and is learning medical Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to explore more of the world.

I’ve been coming here since 2012 and I love all the doctors. I used to see Dr. Jones for my annual exams. Dr. Breitt delivered my 2nd daughter and Dr. Safi delievered my 3rd one. I see Dr Safi now for my annual exams. I absolutely love her. She’s great, friendly n it’s not awkward at all. Definitely recommend these doctors to everyone.
From pre-op, the actual procedure up to post-op, the staff named Terry has been with me all the way. She kept me comfortable the whole time. Dr. Safi treats her patients like her family members. She is very thorough and just very warm to her patients. Cyndy (scheduler) is also very accommodating. She gave me all the informations I need prior to my procedure and greeted me with a smile as soon as I walked in the door.I really recommend this group!!! Could not recommend this place enough. Dr. Safi is the most amazing, caring doctor I have ever had and you can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and cares about their wellbeing. This office is by far the best I have ever been to. I came here for my second pregnancy and was willing to make the drive for a doctor's office that was worth it. Dr. Safi was absolutely incredible and so was Dr. Kate ... They were ALWAYS compassionate, thorough, knowledgeable, and considerate with my pregnancy. Dr. Safi was knowledgeable about a rare disease my brother has (which my current doctor in another city has no idea and never heard of it) and put my concerns at ease. I also had gestational diabetes and although they took all the necessary precautions, they were considerate and reasonable in managing my diabetes so that I never felt overwhelmed, but still did what was needed. I barely ever had to wait at the office - they take your time seriously and they are honestly the first doctor's office I've ever seen operate like that. They are thorough in explaining and answering any concerns you have. Dr. Kate even took care of a serious matter that I had in the hospital (associated with their office) and was EXTREMELY compassionate and serious in regards to ensuring that the matter would be addressed. I'm now in another city with another pregnancy and so so wish I could still go to this office. They are a gem and make the whole experience that much better
