About Farrah Zerin

My clinical specialties are orthopedic pain management, fertility, and women's reproductive health. I combine traditional East Asian medicine with contemporary anatomical knowledge to provide individualized, thoughtful acupuncture care. I earned my Master of Science in Acupuncture from the University of Bridgeport and continued my education through doctoral studies at Pacific College of Health and Science. I've also pursued advanced postgraduate training in orthopedic acupuncture and am board-certified in East Asian Medical Aesthetic Acupuncture. My orthopedic approach focuses on musculoskeletal pain, restricted mobility, and functional limitations. I work with patients experiencing neck and back pain, sciatica, joint dysfunction, headaches, migraines, and sports-related injuries. As a snowboarder myself, I understand how important it is to regain mobility and return to the activities you love. Fertility care is particularly close to my heart. I've had the privilege of supporting patients through their journeys toward conception and witnessing many of those journeys lead to healthy pregnancies. Becoming a mother has further deepened my appreciation for reproductive health and the physical and emotional demands of motherhood. Beyond the treatment room, I'm a native New Yorker, mother, wife, drummer, Indian classical dancer, former bartender, and someone who has always been fascinated by people, movement, and the complexities of the human body. My path into medicine was unconventional. Before becoming an acupuncturist, I spent years immersed in NYC's underground music and arts communities. Those experiences taught me the value of listening, observing, and connecting with people from all walks of life—qualities that remain central to my approach to patient care.
