He then completed a Society of Surgical Oncology breast surgical oncology fellowship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, Buffalo, NY. Dr. Angarita has joined the division of Surgical Oncology at Houston Methodist Hospital after completing his fellowship. His clinical focus includes both breast cancer and benign breast disease. Dr. Angarita’s research interest is in geriatric oncology, particularly in studying how treatment outcomes and decision-making can be optimized in older women with breast cancer.
