“Dr. Laurent was the only dermatologist available for an appointment at the last minute before we left on vacation. This was our third time with a video visit with a physician and the best of those three times. Dr. Laurent truly listened, evaluated our concerns with care, and created a plan of action that was accurate to the diagnosis and made us feel incredibly comfortable. We’ve been searching for our forever dermatologist, and we have found that in Dr. Laurent. We will be recommending him and look forward to seeing him in person hopefully next time, although the video call was professional, clear, and wonderful.”

About Dr. Filiberto Cedeno Laurent
Dr. Cedeno Laurent is an Ivy-League trained and Board Certified dermatologist with extensive expertise in cutaneous oncology, complex medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.
After obtaining his medical degree from Escuela de Medicina Ignacio A. Santos (Monterrey, Mexico), Dr. Cedeno Laurent joined the Institute of Human Virology at the University of Maryland to pursue a post-doctoral research fellowship on HIV-related skin conditions. He became so passionate about the role of the immune system in the development of skin disorders that he became the first Mexican national to receive a doctorate degree in Immunology at Harvard Medical School.
After the completion of his PhD, Dr. Cedeno Laurent trained as a dermatologist at the University of Pennsylvania, the oldest and one of the most prestigious dermatology departments in the United States. Dr. Cedeno Laurent completed a one-year fellowship in cutaneous oncology (skin cancer) and has concentrated his latest efforts in the field of procedural and cosmetic dermatology.
Having received numerous national and international awards, his research has been presented in numerous conferences around the world and his work has been cited by nearly 500 scientific publications.
Dr. Cedeno Laurent enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis and traveling around the world. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
