About Dr. Fiona Gupta
Fiona Gupta, MD, is a board-certified neurologist and an internationally recognized clinician and educator in the field of neuroscience and movement disorders. She is diligently serving patients at New York Neurology Associates, where she holds the title of Director of the Division of Movement Disorders. Alongside this, Dr. Gupta is positioned as a Sub-Investigator at NYNA's clinical trials arm, the New York Neurology Institute. She has been in clinical practice for 15 years.
Dr. Gupta completed her residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center and further honed her expertise through a prestigious fellowship in movement disorders at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. With a clinical practice spanning over ten years, she has risen as a notable figure in the realm of deep brain stimulation (DBS) and neuromodulation, as well as neurotoxins, significantly benefiting a large number of patients with her adept and precise treatment.
Earlier in her career, Dr. Gupta established a robust foundation as the Medical Director of the DBS Program at Hackensack University Medical Center, a program that she built and grew to be one of the foremost in the nation. She then went on to become Director of the Movement Disorders Outreach Program and an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Her academic endeavors are exemplary, having authored numerous publications and shared her insights at national and international congresses. She is the co-author of the bestselling book "Parkinson's Disease for the Hospitalist." She works with numerous advocacy groups and has received numerous accolades throughout her career, including the Virginia N. Scola Award for the Most Compassionate Physician of her graduating class.

Absolute trash. Said it was nothing serious but couldn’t do the simple job of sending a prescription to CVS. Costed me so much for 15 minutes and again zero medication.

I have been bouncing around referral to referrals within Langone system and no one could help me with my issue. Doctor Gupta noticed my issue right away and she was more knowledgeable than any other doctors I have previously seen. I am glad I found zocdoc and searched myself instead of counting on referral system. I have wasted years and was in pain for no reason. I am going to continue my treatment with doctor Gupta and I have been nothing but great feelings about it. I feel like I can finally get somewhere!!

I was very happy with how my appointment went. I had previously booked a different neurologist, but the earliest appointment they could give me was over a month out. I was in a lot of pain, and did not want to wait that long. I was able to make an appointment with Dr Gupta within a week, and she performed the necessary tests the same day of my appt in her office. Very friendly office staff, and Dr Gupta was also very nice.
