About Frances Garbarino
After graduating with her Associate Degree in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University in 2008, Frances earned her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Gwynedd Mercy University in 2012, followed by a Master's in Adult Gerontology Nursing from the same institution in 2013. Since then, she has practiced primary care medicine both as a nurse and a nurse practitioner in various settings. She has a passion for comprehensive care of the individual and prides herself on providing quality, attentive, and compassionate care. Frances is also an Adjunct Professor of Nursing in the Nurse Practitioner program at Gwynedd Mercy University, as well as a Clinical Associate Professor for the Graduate School of Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania.

I felt like she was very angry and annoyed. As soon as she signed on she said “ you’re close to us why didn’t you come in?”. I didn’t feel like I could open up and talk to her at all. She said she would order a full lab panel for me and ordered one test. She told me that she was sorry if she was stumbling over her words but “that’s just what happens on Fridays”. Not warm or caring and just asked me routine questions and then said “so you don’t have anything wrong why are you coming in” and then proceeded to tell me that I probably don’t have the issues that I came in to ask about (cortisol levels and hair loss and weight gain at the age of 40) because “your periods are normal”. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a provider and I work in a doctors office. Find another doc if you’re looking!

I have been looking for the perfect PCP for a while due to insurance complications. I am a 35 year old female and have had 5 years of recovery after getting hit head on by an 18 wheeler in 2012, I am a very complicated patient. A lot of physicians don’t even want to take care of me because they simply don’t know how or they just don’t care to. I look normal on the outside but once you really read my medical history, you will see my organs and body have been through the wringer. I need someone to listen to me, work with me, and want to help me as much as possible. Fran did just that for me! I look forward to continuing to see her for my general health need's. Thank you Fran, for showing your passion for people through what you do.

The whole staff was so lovely! Fran was the first doctor I have experienced that truly listened to me and took my thoughts into account. She was proactive in her care while also making me feel comfortable and like I was just talking to a friend. Highly reccomend!

Everyone at Liberty Health was very professional and friendly. I was seen at my appointment time, no long wait as in many other practices. Frances was great. We had discussions about my health and care and she listened and provided realistic solutions. She is very open and easy to talk to. I have actually recommended her to a couple of friends. It was a great appointment.
