About Dr. Francesca Vanessa Scurto
Dr. Scurto entered the medical field because of her experiences growing up. With her sister being diagnosed with cancer, she became familiar with the patient side of healthcare and wanted to contribute by providing care to those who needed it most. She loves how transformative the power of caring for others can be. Whether offering support, compassion or expertise, Francesca enjoys helping patients to navigate their challenges and become the best versions of themselves in the process.
Dr. Scurto is originally from Windsor, Ontario and married an American who became a hospitalist in Northwest Indiana. Together they share the best dog named Django. They all live in downtown Chicago, so in their free time you can find them walking around the city and grabbing a good bite to eat – especially during patio season in the summer!

Why do you make an appointment if thr doctor ant see you for an hour and a half after you arrive?
I left, I had things to do. If this office and doctor can't respect my time, why trust them with my health.

It was great. They got me in on time and even though they were very busy I still had my time and didn't feel rushed at all. The nurse that brought me back was absolutely amazing and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. Both were wonderful ladies.
