What is your typical process for working with clients?

At the initial visit, I complete a thorough psychiatric and medical-psychiatric assessment, including history, current concerns, and goals, and then review diagnostic impressions and treatment options in clear, accessible language. Follow-up visits focus on monitoring symptoms, side effects, and functioning, adjusting medications thoughtfully, and reinforcing coping strategies and education so patients feel confident in their care plan. When appropriate, I coordinate closely with therapists, primary care, nephrology and other specialists, and community supports to ensure that treatment is consistent, safe, and aligned with each patient’s broader health needs.
