She believes all individuals deserve to be treated with the same respect and dignity as those with medical conditions such as hypertension, asthma, COPD, or diabetes. My communication style She builds strong therapeutic relationships grounded in trust and respect, using a personalized and collaborative approach to develop care plans that address each patient’s unique needs, challenges, and goals. My journey to mental healthcare I realized, as years went by and by interacting and understanding the challenges that individuals who have mental illness experience, and this prompted me to further advance my education to become a master-prepared psychiatric nurse practitioner. I go to work each workday to explore ways and means to help those in my care. My goals for you I maintain eye contact and speak in simple, clear sentences so you understand what to expect. We gently review your goals and progress together. Our first session I offer attentive, empathetic listening in a professional, patient-centered environment where you feel heard and respected.
