Dr. Rodriguez is a caring and compassionate physician who has practiced in the field of psychiatry for over 35 years.
Dr. Rodriguez earned his Bachelor's degree with a concentration in pre-medicine from Pedro Enriquez Urena National University in 1978. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from Autonomous University of Santo Domingo in 1981. He completed three years of residency training in Psychiatry at Bergen Pines County Hospital in 1990. Finally, in 1992 he completed a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at New York Medical College with Metropolitan Hospital.

Dr Rodriguez does not familiarize himself with the patient’s record prior to the appointment.
The office does not take secondary insurance nor do they file it for the patient. It requires multiple requests to get a suitable receipt for the patient to file.
Dr Rodriguez will not speak to a patient outside of the office appointment regarding medications. His secretary simple states that the office cannot assist.
Prescriptions supposedly electronically transmitted often do not reach the pharmacy.

For someone who suffers from anxiety, this process is almost dangerous. It was difficult to learn. The computer I have does not support your video. ................Also, the pharmacy did not receive the prescriptions. Everything about this appointment was awful.

Due to this Corona Virus, I have been experiencing high anxiety and uncontrollable breakdowns. During my initial tele-visit with Dr. Rodriquez he expressed compassion and understanding. He didn’t make me feel like I was over reacting. On the contrary, he made me feel extremely comfortable about this new condition that I am suffering with during this pandemic.
