About Dr. Frank Zhang
Dr. Zhang has been a Board Certified physician in internal medicine with over 20 years experiences in Primary Care in Suffolk County, Long Island. Dr. Zhang has extensive experiences in Primary Care and Geriatric Care. He has been the Medical Director in Woodhaven Health Care Facilities since 2015.
Dr. Zhang graduated from Guangzhou Medical College in 1984. He completed his post graduate training at NYU Medical Center/VA Medical Center in New York in 1994 and Medical Residence at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey in 1996 when he was awarded an Outstanding Research and Scholar Award.
Dr. Zhang started his medical practice in Suffolk County in 1996. He is affiliated with John T. Mather Hospital and St Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson. He is bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese.

Dr. Zhang took his time to examine me. He asked me many questions unlike some other doctor who rush you out of their offices. He was patient and I felt very comfortable. He listened to me and answered my questions too. I will certainly go back to his office.

At first I had to wait about an hour, but when I finally got to see the doctor it was well worth it. He is a dying breed. He is a doctor that really cares. He doesn't rush through the patients. I highly recommend this doctor

I personally don’t think i would go back to this provider. I went for a routine physical and this man wouldn’t really let me get a word in and was dismissive of everything I said. He also spent more time telling me I need to lose weight (I’m not even fat just a powerlifter who’s lost 60 pounds already) than listening to any concerns I had.
Nothing I was concerned about ever even got addressed, so I think I will have to find a new provider

Nice Doctor however horrible wait time and unpleasant people at their front desk. The front desk lady told me that if I don’t want to wait I should go to the emergency room not here! Really. Not a nice thing to said.

Over an hour wait past appointment time then less than 10 minutes spent with doctor. Does not draw blood in office-sends you to lab. Not very thorough in exam or addressing concerns.
