About Gabriela Follett
Gabriela is a nationally licensed Acupuncturist with specialized experience in chronic pain and orthopedic acupuncture. She previously spent two years at the Mass General Brigham Charlestown HealthCare Center’s Specialties Department, where she focused on treating chronic pain conditions, orthopedic injuries, and post-surgical recovery. She worked closely with athletes managing both acute and long-term injuries, supporting rehabilitation and performance-focused recovery.
Alongside her orthopedic work at Mass General Brigham, Gabriela also worked with pregnant patients and midwives. She supported patients throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period and valued collaboration with midwives to provide integrative, holistic care.
She is a committed and compassionate practitioner, dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal health and well-being through the ancient and highly effective practice of acupuncture. Gabriela earned her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS), New England School of Acupuncture, in 2022.
Gabriela practices with a trauma-informed care approach, taking the time to listen deeply to her patients’ concerns and creating personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual needs and goals.
She completed clinical rotations at the New England School of Acupuncture teaching clinic, the Veterans Hospital in Bedford, and the Boston Medical Center Pediatric Pain Clinic, gaining experience across diverse patient populations and complex pain conditions.

I was 35 weeks pregnant with a breech baby I was desperate to flip, and Gabriela fit me in for moxibustion on super short notice. Her bedside manner is incredible, she’s an active listener, and she asked me a lot of questions to make sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I had never experienced any kind of Chinese medicine before, but she made the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable. Would absolutely go back.
And to top it all off, my baby flipped!
