I went in with great trepidation because of the RK and PRK that I had previously experienced with both eyes. Now, at age 64, I have cataracts on top of those incisions from the previous surgeries. I was referred to Dr. Hu by my doctor and several friends as well. I was pleasantly surprised by the optimism and hopefulness that I experienced from Dr. Heisterkamp and Dr. Hu. The last person we interacted with was Olivia, the surgery consultant. She was so friendly, kind and helpful with working with the finances. I'm looking forward to experiencing the new technology of the Light Adjustable Lenses and praying for great results.

I recently had an eye exam in preparation for cataract surgery, and I couldn't be happier with the level of care I received. From start to finish, the process was smooth, professional, and reassuring. The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, answering all my questions with patience and clarity. The optometrist was thorough and attentive, taking the time to explain every step of the exam and ensuring I felt comfortable throughout. The clinic's state-of-the-art technology made me confident I was in great hands, Dr. Hu and Dr. Solis provided a detailed assessment of my eyes to prepare for the upcoming surgery. It's clear they prioritize patient care and take every precaution to ensure the best outcomes. I'm feeling well-prepared for my procedure and deeply grateful for their expertise and kindness. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of eye care!

I got there a few minutes early and before I could even finish my paperwork, I was called. Everyone was courteous and friendly and I was told that I should wait to have any procedures done. No pressure to sell. Highly recommend.

I went to Texas Eye & Laser Center for my initial cataract consultation on September 16, 2024. The ladies at the reception counter couldn't have been nicer. Victoria was particularly helpful. Unfortunately, the forms I had completed online weren't saved by the system, so I had to fill out the paper forms. I was in the exam rooms within a half hour undergoing the various tests. The technicians were professional and friendly. My eyes were dilated and a while later, I saw Dr. Solis, who confirmed my cataracts and advised me concerning the potential procedure. She was professional and informative, listening carefully to my questions and giving me answers I could understand. I next saw Dr. Hu, who will be performing my surgery. He was upbeat, professional, informative, and friendly, and he covered some options available to me. From start to finish, I was made to feel comfortable and confident about my upcoming surgery. Was the time spent at the office long? Yes, but the process takes time.

Very friendly and professional.

Dr. Hu, and staff were very professional and thorough. We completed many tests and they provided their professional opinion so I can make an informed decision on my eye health.
The staff here were great and quickly moved me through the whole process, answering my questions the whole way. Once my eyes were dilated for the rest of the exam, Dr Hu entered with some other staff and they examined my eyes to validate eligibility. I asked a few additional questions and he was very receptive to any concerns I had and once we were done, I was taken to the business office and given the pricing but they weren't pushy about trying to get it scheduled. I outlined my own self-requirements and goal for getting the treatment and they accepted that. Overall it was a great experience and I look forward to doing future business with this office!
The office staff was friendly and moved my appointment through in a thorough but timely fashion. The providers were thorough, informative and friendly. Great experience!
