About Dr. Gary Goff

In 1989, he began his studies at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. After obtaining his medical degree in 1993, he completed his internship and residency programs at Parkland Memorial Hospital and St. Paul University Hospital in Dallas in 1996.
Dr. Goff completed his internship and residency programs in 1996 and joined Health Texas Provider Network, a physician group affiliated with Baylor University Medical Center. He started his practice with Ellis County Diagnostic Clinic in Waxahachie, Texas, and established himself as a caring physician dedicated to the medical needs of the community. During his time in Waxahachie, he served as the Medical Director for both the Baylor Ellis County Community Health Clinic and the Pleasant Manor Nursing Center.

Dr. Goff asked amazing and in depth questions, explained why some of my medications hadn’t been working, explained why he wanted certain tests ordered, and really made me feel like he understood who I was as a person psychologically and that we could get to the bottom of my healthcare needs.

I really like Dr. Goff and the staff at the office. Overall a good experience and will continue to use Dr. Goff as my primary care physician.
I arrived 15 minutes early to my appointment and the front desk staff said that they checked me in, but 45 minutes later they told me that they didn't actually have an appointment for me. They finally took my information and after another 20 minute wait they took me to the exam room. I was in the office for a total of 2 hours for a general check up.

Very disappointed w my experience. For starters, the front desk barely acknowledges you. During my 1st appt, the dr was interrupted 3x by a nurse while w me. This was extremely frustrating as a first time patient. He was so distracted that forgot to call in the prescription of meds he wanted to put me on along with forgetting to submit a referral for a specialist. Days later, at a diff appt I had to remind him that he never called it in. The pharmacy had issues getting ahold of him as well. I was told to come back in a month to rerun blood work. The NP thought I was only coming in to review bloodwork results. I asked her to rerun labs - the one item I needed that I specifically came back for was not tested. I have tried calling the office several times to no avail. Labcorp is unable to test any blood on file w/o doc approval and the item I need requires frozen blood which they do not keep. So disappointed in this entire experience. Not worth the headache.
