Dr. Green has been affiliated with Major League Baseball since 2003 and has served as Medical Director for Major League Baseball since 2010. He is also currently Research Director for the League. In these roles, he has been instrumental in several rule changes to Major League Baseball that have improved the health and safety of players. He has been a team physician for collegiate athletes for the past 35 years and has served as head team physician for Pepperdine University since 1997. Dr. Green combines primary care and sports medicine in his clinical practice and feels that all patients are athletes. He has published numerous research articles on a variety of subjects that include sports-related concussion, baseball injuries and the use of performance-enhancing drugs in athletes. He is married to Dr. Debra Yerman, DC and they share 4 adult children and 2 dogs.
