I was able to be seen same day and using his computer based adjustment system I had immediate relief. It took a few visits to regain full mobility but it does work. I really like that he uses new technology like electrical stim to help recovery time. I’ve been a patient now for over a month and Dr. Scardino treats me like family, he takes time to get to know each patient and never rushes you out the door like many other places. I have missed maybe 2 appointments, and I always feel the difference when I get adjusted. Before I started seeing Dr. Scardino I would have constant lower back pain, and if I was working with a large dog at work, I would have such a hard time getting out of bed the next morning. I have been practicing in Newtown for 26 years. I have developed a truly wholistic health and wellness program for all ages, from pregnancy to "seasoned" citizens. I specialize in difficult cases including Migraines, Cluster Headaches, Fibromyalgia, Lyme Disease, Chronic Fatigue, and Long Covid. I am Board Certified in Holistic Addiction Recovery, covering Reward Deficiency Syndrome conditions such as Anxiety, Depression, Emotional Eating, Cravings, Weight Loss, and Drug & Alcohol Recovery. I have advanced training in many chiropractic techniques including Diversified, Thompson, and Toggle. I mostly use Torque Release Technique (TRT), a low-force adjustment combining top subluxation diagnosis methods with the most advanced low-force technique, and the Pro Adjuster Computerized Adjuster, a computer-guided way to find and treat subluxation.
I also do Auriculotherapy (Non-needle Ear Acupuncture), Nutrition Response Technique, and ROM Exercise (a full-body workout equivalent to 1 hour 20 minutes in the gym in only 8 minutes a day).
I am certified in Chiropractic Pediatrics and was President of the Pediatrics Club at Life University, where I earned my Doctor of Chiropractic degree. I had the honor of learning from the late Dr. Larry Webster, known as the Grandfather of Pediatric Chiropractic, who developed the Webster Breech Turning Technique—a non-invasive method to turn breech babies into vertex presentation. I also hold a Bachelor's degree from the College of New Jersey.

Dr. Scardino is a caring and knowledgeable chiropractic practitioner. His use of a chiropractic tool eliminates the need for manual adjustments even though he can perform them. The tool allows for adjustments of the sinuses and it has been a lifesaver for me because I had neck surgery years ago and prefer to avoid manual adjustments on my neck because of it. Chiropractic at Scardino Family Chiropractic is a large piece of my overall wellness plan.

I have struggled with often crippling back pain for decades.. added to that I have several autoimmune issues that have negatively impacted my life. I've been seeing Dr Scardino for 3 months and already am noticing positive results in many areas. His computerized technique of adjustments, his willingness to listen & work specifically with individual ailments and overall positive attitude have greatly impacted my everyday life and I'm looking forward to added mobility and improvement in the future!

I have been coming to Dr. Scardino for a few years and he has helped me tremendously. I work as a hair stylist and am on my feet all day and using my arms raised up. Dr. Scardino and his special techniques help me stay working and keep me healthy and has decreased my pains. I recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Scardino has been crucial in my recovery from a terrible horseback riding accident I had. After surgery, I wanted to make sure I was doing everything I could to increase my chances of a full recovery and maintain physical activity throughout the years to come. What drew me to his practice was his use of the torque release technique. It is a gentle adjustment that has kept me feeling my best over the last 6 years. Since then I have started bringing my entire family for adjustments. My boys, 12 and 7, love getting adjusted and Dr. Scardino is great with them! He has helped my husband who works in construction and even helped stop a migraine in its track! He is extremely flexible and fair making it easy to go regularly. He is always ready to help in a pinch and truly wants to do everything he can to help his patients live their best lives.

I've had neck and upper back issues, pain and headaches for the past 15 years due to a previous car accident when I was rear ended and had whiplash. I am a nurse and initially I tried treatment through other means of medical care only to be told that surgery would be my only solution to the pain. I started seeing Dr. Scardino in mid September and have experienced much relief from the neck issues I've had in the past. I would highly recommend his chiropractic services. His initial evaluation was thorough and easy. He is easy to talk and very willing to work with you as much as possible to help you reach your optimal health goals.

Dr. Scardino has been indispensable to my healthcare regimen for more than three years. Lower back pain and a chronic "stiff neck" had plagued me for years. Now, at well passed the 3/4 century mark, my senior softball colleagues are astounded at how fast I run. My grandchildren look forward to racing Gramps on the beach. My general mobility and sleeping had significantly improved after four months of Dr. Scardino's adjustments, and since then I have continued to benefit from regular weekly visits to his practice.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gary's from day one of his practice. After retiring my other chiropractors I found Dr. Gary ready to take me on. Over the years (23 to be exact) he has always made himself available for treatment. In those 23 years he has taken on the latest approaches in chiropractic treatment, auricular therapy, & acupuncture. The latest method of chiropractic adjustment (Pro Adjuster) is a lot less "bone cracking" and more gentil manipulation. The secret to his success and yours is visiting him on a regular basis (I do at least once a week). Misalignments happen over time so they must be corrected over time. He is friendly and truthful in his diagnosis and treatment.

My family has been going to Dr. Scardino for more than 5 years. He has treated my daughter for torticollis and back ache. My son has Autism and has benefited greatly with the Pro Adjuster.
I have been going to Dr. Scardino for my sinuses and lower back issues I have. I also have osteoarthritis in my hip joints and with his treatment and help I don't have to take any pain medication.
