My name is Gehan Morel and I am a nurse practitioner and primary care provider. I believe the role of a primary care provider is to serve as the central point of support for a patient’s overall health, addressing both physical and behavioral needs. I strive to ask thoughtful questions, actively listen, and observe both verbal and non-verbal communication. By doing so, I build rapport and trust, allowing me to understand each patient’s unique experiences and concerns. I view primary care as both clinical and relational—an investigative process that allows me to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals in a way that is meaningful and personalized. I am passionate about being a healthcare provider because I value the privilege of contributing to the healing process. Delivering exceptional, individualized, patient-centered care is core to my practice. As a nurse practitioner, I am committed to helping patients restore their health, prevent illness, and promote long-term wellness. One of the most fulfilling aspects of my work is witnessing patients improve their physical and mental well-being, allowing them to live happier and healthier lives. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. We love being outdoors, going to the beach, and playing together with our family dog. These moments help me stay grounded, energized, and connected to what is most important to me.
