Getting to know George Kieh

Please note for self-pay patients the initial consultation fee is $300 and follow up appointments are $150. As a provider with diagnosed ADHD or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder who suffered the consequences of such disorder, including depression and anxiety due to painful losses from relationships, jobs, finances, business, academic and others caused by ADHD, my lived experiences shape and inform my practice and how I care for my patients. I treat my patient with empathy, understanding, respect, and compassion. Because, meeting a provider for the first time may be intimidating, a goal of the first visit is to allay my client's fear and make them comfortable. I listen as they tell me their story and walk me through their difficult journey. Together. we determine their goal of care and come up with the best, most effective, and best treatment plan backed by supportive care from the practice. to help the patient reached their goal and be happy. I see patients with ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, mood swings. sleep problems, PTSD, autism disorder, dementia, and schizoaffective disorder. Ages seen include children 8 years to 12, adolescents, young adults to older adults or seniors.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I understand that meeting a new provider for the first time can be scary and intimidating. As a result, my approach on the first day is to allay the patient's fears and initiate a warm provider-client therapeutic relationship. I listen intently, respect the patient, and treat the patient as I want to be treated as a patient.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

At the first visit, the goal is to understand the patient's psychosocial and medical history, see where the patient is., and where the patient want to be. Then, together with the patient, we come up with the patient's treatment and personal goals, and a plan that will get the patient there. At each subsequent visit, we see where the patient's at in terms of the goals and if the plans need adjustment. We do this until the goals are met.
