About Dr. Gerald Barnes
Practicing since 2006, Dr. Barnes is a leader in the treatment of injured discs using spinal decompression, laser therapy, and physical rehabilitation. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University and holds a bachelor's degree from Jackson State University.
He has extensive experience in clinical sports medicine, including concussion management. Through his work with both professional and collegiate athletes, as well as veterans suffering from post-concussion syndrome, he has developed strong, trusting relationships.
Dr. Barnes approaches each case by identifying the underlying cause or causes of injury or disease. He uses a systems-oriented approach to generate objective results that lead to improved treatment methods. His dedication to treating the body as a whole-both internal and external-has resulted in a high rate of treatment success and positive patient outcomes.

Dr. Barnes is amazing. He took 10-15 minutes with me just asking about my medical history and doing strength tests to identify the root and reason for my pain, as well the one spot that’s causing it all. He actually wants to fix your issue while everyone else I’ve been to just adjusts and stretches, which is a temporary relief.

I was blown away with the professionalism, the friendliness, and the clear two-way communication shared by the staff. I have been so surprised with the clarity and accuracy with which Dr. Barnes approached the treatment. There were no surprises and I felt confident that what was done will be a great pathway forward to my health improvement. I wish I had met him and the staff earlier in my injury experience.

My first visit to his office was AMAZING I came in in a pain level of 10! I couldn't sit or bend. Two hours later I can sit, bend and twists. I'm ready for the Olympics (for Seniors) lol. I cancelled my Physical Therapy appointment immediately. The body is the greatest masterpiece. Go to the masterpiece HEALER on Earth. Dr. Barnes and his awesome and beautiful assistant Stacy. I'm 62 years young again.

I’d write all day if I knew you would read it, but in the greatest possible way… They are SO clean. My husband and I come in together and they even wipe things down between us. Personal…When you are there you are the only one they are worried about. Treatment? My husband was a skeptic to put it mildly. I had to schedule his appointments and drag him out of the house. Now he’s telling me when he’s coming. We’ve been here 4 times and he has yet to adjust my husband simple because his back isn’t ready to with stand it. He goes at your pace. We are extremely happy with our care and attention to our over all health. Two thumbs up and totally recommend 100%.

My experience here was awesome!! The detail and information I gained about my injuries and the treatment and technology were top of line. Dr. Barnes takes a very attentive approach and is a great communicator. He was patient while providing in depth answers to my questions, but also responds in a digestible way that was very informative. Highly recommended overall, so much so that I was calling friends with their own chiropractic issues to share the experience and send them to Dr. Barnes before I left the lobby.
