I came in for a yearly exam and asked about insurance coverage for my GLP-1 medication, which I’ve been on for 20 months (70 lbs lost, significant muscle gained, prescribed via telehealth). Instead of answering my question, the doctor launched into outdated, fear-based talking points—claiming GLP-1s cause blindness based on a single study, insisting I’ll regain all the weight, and saying I’m “just losing water and muscle.” She advised fasting workouts and eating one meal a day—both unsafe for most women—while dismissing the fact that I strength train 4x/week, eat 150g protein daily, and have made lasting lifestyle changes. I left feeling this provider was uninformed about current science and unable to give balanced, evidence-based guidance.

Dr. Kim was so attentive and thorough! I really appreciated it and she spotted things I didn’t even notice because she wanted to make sure all bases were covered..and I came in with a list. Plus the desk staff was very friendly and patient! I’ve had horrible experiences so I’m PICKY but being at this office made me feel so comfortable.

The doctor was about an hour late to my appointment. She was very, very fast, I felt totally rushed through. She also went on a long and unnecessary explanation about the effects of long term marijuana use, which had nothing to do with what I came in for. I won't be returning here.

Very friendly staff. Ms. Young was very informative and thorough. I addressed all my concerns and she made sure to look into the problems and sent referrals. I’m sure all these are standard procedures. Overall I made sure to make an early appointment. I wasn’t rushed or felt like a number.
