About Dr. Gildo Micheletti Jr
Gildo A. Micheletti is a recognized leader and dermatological specialist in the Houston area. He was born and raised in Galveston, Texas. He went to college at Rice University in Houston, Texas. Dr. Micheletti earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, and then went to Scott and Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas for his internship. Next, he completed a three year dermatology residency program at Emory School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He has been in private practice in dermatology in the Houston area since 1977.
Dr. Micheletti has served as the Chief of Dermatology at the Park Plaza Hospital in Houston Texas for more than 30 years providing expert care for patients with many of the most difficult and disabling skin conditions that exist. He has presented dermatological talks locally, nationally, and internationally, including at The International Conference of AIDS in 1992. Dr. Micheletti maintains membership in numerous professional associations, including American Academy of Dermatology, Texas Dermatology Society, Houston Dermatological Society, Harris County Medical Society, and Texas Medical Association.

Dr. Micheletti was excellent. He was very kind and explained everything he was going to do. I had a keloid that needed to be removed, and he was able to do it on the same day in office. It is currently healing, and I am very happy with my treatment. I would definitely recommend this doctor. The staff was also great, and very safety conscious with the current corona virus.

Dr. Micheletti was amazing. He listened carefully to all my concerns and answered all my questions. He gave me the time I needed, so I never felt rushed. You can also see that he is passionate about what he does and has years and years of experience. I am very glad that I found him after two unsatisfactory visits to other dermatologists in the Katy area.
I am happy to come back for a follow-up visit and would totally recommend it to everyone else.
