As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I provide comprehensive mental health evaluations, medication management, and personalized treatment plans based on your unique needs and goals. What is your typical process for working with clients?

At PotterMind Psychiatry, we provide a streamlined, patient-centered approach designed to make your care comfortable and personalized. Your journey begins with completing the necessary intake and consent forms. During your initial psychiatric evaluation, typically 60–90 minutes, we discuss your symptoms, mental health and medical history, current concerns, medications, and treatment goals. We use evidence-based assessment and DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria to develop a comprehensive understanding of your needs. Together, we create a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, psychotherapy referrals, lifestyle recommendations, and other appropriate treatment options. For ADHD evaluations, standardized testing may be completed during a separate assessment appointment before reviewing the results with your provider. Throughout your care, we prioritize open communication, collaboration, and shared decision-making. Our goal is to ensure you feel heard, informed, and supported at every step of your mental health journey.
