My name is Dr. Grace Chikezie, DNP, CRNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC. I am a distinguished healthcare professional licensed and certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). I have worked with persons from various populations with mental health conditions. I believe firmly in holistic care and the holistic approach. I obtained my BSN degree at Grand Canyon University in Arizona, and my master's degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner was obtained at Purdue University Global (former Kaplan University), as well as my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. I have worked in multiple healthcare settings in the medical field which includes but is, not limited to hospitals, group homes, and home healthcare settings in multiple specialty areas.
My passion for mental health grew because I continued to encounter patients of all ages with different levels of mental distress, working as an FNP, and I empathized with them and their families. I vehemently believe in the treatment of the whole person because as humans we need our full functionality to scale through the journey of life. With a solid commitment to delivering exceptional care to my clients, I bring a wealth of experience and dedication to patient care, ensuring that every client receives compassionate, personalized, and tailored treatment that fits their individual needs.
My ideal clients are adolescent/adult clients from all walks of life experiencing Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar disorder, PTSD, and Schizophrenia, needing evaluations, follow-ups/medication management, etc. My expertise is in providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluation/initial assessment, medication management, personalized treatment plans, education and support for families, and psychotherapy/other therapy referrals as needed.
