Grace Jedidah, NP

Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
TX
Hi there, I'm Grace! My approach to mental healthcare focuses on providing holistic care. This means I focus on not just the mental health aspects but also emotional, social, physical, and spiritual well-being as they impact mental health. My focus I work with clients across all age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. My approach I am deeply committed to delivering tailored, client-centered care that effectively addresses the unique needs of every individual. I firmly believe that education is essential for empowering clients to make informed decisions that truly reflect their core values. My communication style I am a good listener who remains calm and respects your privacy. I ensure you feel heard and cared for, encouraging you to discuss your mental health struggles honestly and without fear of judgment. This open communication leads to better treatment outcomes. My journey to mental healthcare After many years as a registered nurse, I noted there existed great disparities in accessing and providing mental healthcare services. These disparities often arise from a shortage of healthcare resources and the stigma surrounding mental health, which prevents people from seeking assistance. My goals for you Goal setting starts with the initial visit. Goals serve as a roadmap that guides you toward your desired outcomes. They are assessed in each session, and adjustments are regularly made to ensure that treatment objectives are met. Our first session The initial session focuses on understanding you better, building a therapeutic relationship, and exploring your feelings and their impact on your daily life. We will also discuss any previous treatments, their effectiveness, and any risk factors involved. Additionally, we'll begin establishing treatment goals.
