About Grace Whiteford

Grace is a registered dietitian with over 20 years of experience helping individuals manage and improve their health through personalized nutrition care. At Season Health, she provides comprehensive, evidence-based nutrition therapy for patients with chronic and complex conditions such as obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, cancer, PCOS and gastrointestinal disorders. Throughout her career, Grace has worked across clinical, research, and educational settings, including Northwestern University and Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where she supported nutrition-focused research and patient care. She believes in meeting each patient where they are and creating realistic, sustainable strategies that fit their lifestyle and preferences. Her approach emphasizes compassion, collaboration, and empowering patients to make confident, lasting changes. Grace holds a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She completed her dietetic internship at the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. Outside of work, Grace lives in the suburbs of Chicago with her husband and three sons. She's a devoted plant enthusiast who cares for more than 50 houseplants and enjoys barre classes, creating art, and baking in her free time.
