Greg Douglas, PMHNP

Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
OH
I provide professional mental health services regardless of where you may be in your journey. Whether you are seeking treatment for the first time or are unsatisfied with your current course of treatment, I am here to help guide you on your road to becoming the best version of yourself through your mental wellness. I utilize a personal and integrative approach to customize a treatment plan for a well-balanced mental and physical life. My philosophy is to address the root cause of mental health conditions, rather than treating surface symptoms only. I believe in the thoughtful use of psychiatric medications along with holistic and therapeutic approaches to promote healing and to achieve a true state of peace and happiness in the mind, body, and spirit. To ensure all my patients have access to mental health services that best fit their needs, I offer telehealth care. I offer a range of psychiatric services and specialize in medication management. I hold a Master's degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Cincinnati, which has equipped me with advanced knowledge and skills to provide comprehensive care. My background includes working in outpatient and inpatient psychiatric hospitals and chemical dependency. This diverse experience has built a foundation for understanding the whole body that expands beyond mental health. Throughout my years as a bedside nurse, I developed a passion for helping those who are suffering from substance use and addiction. This passion led me to a position at Mission Hospitals' inpatient chemical dependency detox unit, where I spent my last five years as a bedside nurse. Through that journey, I became a Certified Addiction Registered Nurse (CARN).

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
