Things like sympathy, smile and kindness simply do not exist within the front desk, which is sad. About Dr. Gregory Amante
Dr. Gregory Amante uses his medical training in Podiatry to provide the best possible care to every patient. He majored in BS Health Science at the State University of New York and received his medical training at the Wyckoff Heights Medical Center PPMR. During his academic career, Dr. Amante also published his research “Myotonic Dystophy and its Implications in Podiatry” in the Podiatric Medical Review. He has also volunteered at Diabetes Awareness Week in 1996 and is a member of the American Podiatric Association.
As a Board Certified Doctor specializing in Podiatry, Dr. Amante is qualified in treatment of a wide range of foot related diseases and ailments such as gout, toenail diseases, bunions, and hammertoes. He is also experienced in performing procedures like orthotic casting, nail surgery, naildebridement, and plantar fasciitis.
Dr. Amante is also fluent in Russian, Spanish, and English and therefore well suited to cater to patients from a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds. A fellowship in surgery and training in Diabetic foot care is also why his patients look to his expertise for accurate diagnoses. He also currently serves at the Department of Podiatry at the Maimonides Medical Center in New York.
Dr Amante’s expertise lies in dedicating himself to his patients and acknowledging every aspect of their medical care. As a board certified Podiatrist, he has employed the use of state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and equipment in order to diagnose and treat patients with foot problems.

Dr Amante was amazing! I came to him for a second opinion for chronic pain I’m having in my ankle and I’m glad I did. From the start he was very attentive and he took time to address all my concerns. He explained everything to me clearly, thoroughly and with a lot of patience. As a first time experience with the doctor I was very pleased. There was no complications as far as the office time, insurance and intake forms. The receptionist was very very pleasant, the office was extremely clean the assistant who walked us into the room was clear but she could work on her bedside manner. Overall, was very pleased and made another appointment and even added a family member to the roster.

Dr Greg is great. He goes above and beyond for his patients. I called him a few times during treatment and he was always available or able to call back.
